Volunteer Opportunities for Summer Events.

BAKE SALE:  Date to be determined   We will be needing LOTS of bakers, helpers on this date.  Please try to help us out!  This is our big fund raiser of the year.  The more we have, the more we can sell.  $$

____I will bake a cake, pie, cookies, coffee cake, bread, cobbler and bring it to the Gazebo by 8:15 Saturday Morning, July 9th.

____Volunteer your time (a one hour shift would be great) by working in the tent with preparation, sales, and/or clean-up.  I would be willing to work at the bake sale, choosing a time that is convenient for me. 

ICE CREAM SOCIAL:  August 4th, 5:00-8:00  Our wonderful community get-together

____ I would like to work on the planning committee. 3 hours time frame.

____ I would like to help with setting up tables and chairs.    3:00 - 4:00

____ I would like to work in the booth serving hot dogs, pouring drinks, or serving the ice cream and cake.  Two shifts: 1-1/2 hour time frame. 

____ I would enjoy working in the cake-cutting room in the church  3:00-4:30

____ I would like to help organize the children's games  1 hour time frame

____ I would like to help the clean-up crew.  8:00-8:45

Easter Egg Hunt:

____Help hide eggs, set up areas. Arrive at Noon. 1/2 hour time frame April 23.

____Help break down event item. 2:30 1/2 Hour time frame

Beautification:

____Join the master gardeners and gardening volunteers to keep our lovely Lakeside Park looking its very best! Meet at the Gazebo. __May 7, __June 25, __July 30, __Oct 1. Time Frame: Your choice.

Adopt-a-Road Clean-up:

____Volunteers needed to pitch in. Come when you can! Anytime between 9:00 and Noon. We provide gloves, bags, and enthusiasm to cover the 2+ miles of road. Meet at the Gazebo. Each volunteer will only be assigned whatever he/she feels is his/her capability.                               Two Dates:   _____May 14,  _____October 8
